C308 receivers are made by PTR. PTR did a lot of work on the C308 so I find it funny when people talk about how shitty the C308 is compared to the PTR. CAI never ground a bolt head either. The ground bolt heads arrived inside the kits from Spain. I've bought a couple of those receivers on Gunbroker, they're fine.

The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at. The PTRs are built from the ground up off of surplussed HK G3 tooling, if I recall correctly, and it shows.
